Mulberry Logistic Park, located in Doncaster, represents one of the United Kingdom's largest and most flexible logistics opportunities, encompassing an impressive 2,500,000 square feet of industrial warehouse space, all of which are currently occupied.
Moduquip played a pivotal role in the extensive collaborative efforts that took place three years prior to the commencement of this project. This involved engaging in comprehensive discussions with planning consultants, consulting engineers, and the client to ensure that the stormwater pumping station installed on-site was not only fit-for-purpose but also strategically positioned to maximize space utilization for the construction of the warehouses.
Following the approval from Severn Trent, the adoptable pumping station was successfully installed and commissioned. It is now in its maintenance phase, preparing for formal adoption. This meticulous planning and execution ensured compliance with regulatory standards while meeting the operational needs of the logistics park.
The early-stage collaboration on this project was crucial to its overall success. It not only facilitated a quicker approval process from the water authority but also empowered the client to commence generating revenue from the leasing of the properties at the earliest possible opportunity.
